Comex y el jailbreak para el iOS4.1

Mientras que el lanzamiento oficial del iOS 4,1  está previsto para esta semana, Comex, el desarrollador de la herramientas Spirit y JailbreakMe.com, dijo que había encontrado dos defectos que facilitarían la implementación del jailbreak para este firmware. 
Uno de estos dos fallos propiciaría un jailbreak de tipo Userland (como Jailbreakme), es decir que la vulnerabilidad residiría en el propio iOS a través de un bug (agujero del sistema) . La ventaja de este tipo de defecto es que es compatible con todos los dispositivos, pero puede ser fácilmente corregido con una actualización de la iOS, como, lamentablemente, hemos podido comprobar.

La segunda falla involucra un defecto en la ROM de arranque. Para bloquear este posible error, Apple actualizaría la Bootroom del dispositivo, que no es tan sencillo de hacer, ya que requiere algo más que una actualización del iOS.  La desventaja es que este tipo de jailbreak no es compatible con todos los dispositivos. Recordemos, que ún hay muchos usuarios atrapados en la pantalla de emergencia, aquellos propietarios de iPhone 3GS con la denominada bootrom nueva.

Sólo queda esperar.

    @michino Segun se rumora sale el 8 de septiembre, hay un PROBLEMA con esta noticia, los iPhone 3GS con BootRom nueva se pueden desbloquear con Jailbreakme

    SOLAMENTE estan atrapados aquellos que actualizaron al 4.0.2 lo cual entonces no seria SOLAMENTE los 3GS, si actualizas un iPhone 4 al 4.0.2 tampoco se le puede hacer el jailbreak.
